Penson students host teddy bear drive for GPRH

Thanks to the generosity and support of Penson School students, families and community, Student Council members were able to fill seven large bags of teddy bears for the hospital’s pediatric ward. Grade 5 teacher Ms. Ashly Bowen says they are especially grateful for donations from the Grovedale Oldstars, Grovedale Community and Agricultural Society, Darrel McAusland, and the Penson School Parent Fundraising Society. “Their kindness will help bring comfort and smiles to so many children in need. I am so proud of our students for hosting such an impactful event and to our school community for its incredible support.” On March 17, all seven bags of new teddy bears were delivered to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital.
