Ms. Rey says she has enjoyed her year as Acting Principal and is excited to continue in the role next year. “I am thrilled for the opportunity to contribute to the continued success and growth of BES, and look forward to continuing to work with the staff, students, and community members.” Ms. Rey, who began teaching at BES in 2007, was appointed as Assistant Principal in 2020. Throughout her years in Beaverlodge, and in addition to her teaching responsibilities, she has held leadership positions as the school’s Inclusive Education Coordinator, Early Childhood Services Resource Teacher, Leveled Literacy Intervention Teacher, and Principal.
