PWPSD Assurance Survey

Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) has three priority areas that capture the important improvement work the Division is engaged in: Student Learning, Equity, and Wellness.

Each year, PWPSD engages with parents, students, and staff through its annual Assurance Surveys. The surveys are delivered through each of our school communities. They ask for input based on the Division's three priorities, which helps guide the Division in ensuring high quality student learning, equity in education, and school community wellness. The results from these surveys, along with student achievement data, are also used to update the Division's and schools' 3-Year Assurance Plans. These plans identify the priorities, outcomes, and strategies used to achieve our goals.

The PWPSD Assurance Surveys allow for a greater level of engagement, target the Division's three priorities, and provide feedback that is used to assess progress and guide planning to support continuous improvement.

What do schools do with their annual survey results?
  • Identify strengths and opportunities for growth
  • Communicate results with school staff and School Council members
  • Highlight information back to their school community
  • Create annual School Assurance Plans, which are submitted to the PWPSD Board annually as part of the Division's continuous improvement
As part of providing assurance back to our stakeholders, the 2023-2024 survey results are below.
